About us
The Music Resource Centre (MRC) is co-located with Everton Park State High School at 668 Stafford Road, Everton Park.
The MRC houses an administration centre, studios, and the Hultgren Regional Music Library. The MRC is the base for the Regional Music Coordinator, Curriculum HODs and Project Officers, and for the Instrumental Music (IM) Online Program.
The MRC provides professional supervision and support for Instrumental Music teachers in the region. Project Officers provide direct support to teachers in curriculum and pedagogy.
The MRC supports a suite of enrichment programs including cluster camps, workshops and programs including Fanfare, Choral Fanfare and Singfest, Metro Choral Honours, and MetSec.
Specialist programs are run from the MRC annex on the grounds of Kelvin Grove State College Senior School.
