About us
The South East Region (SER) Music Hub is located on the grounds of
Pimpama State School. The SER Music Hub is housed in the old administration building at the front of the school, and is the base for the Regional Music Coordinator, Instrumental Music (IM) HODs and Project Officers.
The Regional Music Coordinator is responsible for staffing of instrumental music teachers and offers professional support for music teachers in the region. We support teachers in planning for regional music camps, festivals, workshops, extension classes, master class sessions, curriculum planning and support, pedagogical development, moderation, assessment, recruitment and selection, and provide resources such as the music library and a selection of instruments.
