Ipswich—Beginner string workshop 2024

Information	Details
Caters for	Primary Instrumental Music students studying a string instrument through their school Instrumental Music program who are at the foundation (beginner) level of playing. Students will participate in large ensemble rehearsals, small group tutorials and choir
Event type	1-day non-residential workshop
Cost to students	Cost will be advised in the workshop letter
Entry	Open to all eligible Year 3 Beginner students from participating schools
Date	Tuesday 18 June 2024
Venue	Silkstone State School
Concert	Students will present a short concert at the school hall from 2.00–2.30pm. Entry is free, all are welcome

Entry	Open to all eligible Year 5 and 6 Senior students from participating schools, who are not attending RISE

Rural, Ipswich and Springfield excellence (RISE) camp 2024

Information	Details
Caters for	Primary Instrumental Music students studying a brass, woodwind or percussion instrument through their school Instrumental Music program who are at an advanced level (Level 3+) of playing. Students will participate in large ensemble rehearsals and small group tutorials, presenting a concert at the end of the workshop
Event type	3-day non-residential workshop
Cost to students	Cost will be advised in the workshop letter
Entry	Via online nomination and selection by recorded audition with Instrumental Music teachers. Open to all eligible students from participating schools
Date	Monday 9 September to Wednesday 11 September 2024
Venue	Woogaroo Creek State School
Concert	Students will present a concert at the hall from 6.30pm. Entry is free, all are welcome

Rural cluster—Bandtastic workshop 2024

Information	Details
Caters for	Year 5 and 6 Primary students in their second or third year playing a woodwind, brass or percussion instrument this year will attend the beginner (Level 2+) workshop
Events type	2-day cluster non-residential workshops for Primary students
Entry	Open to all eligible Year 5 and 6 senior students from participating schools who are not attending RISE
Activities	Large ensemble rehearsals, small group tutorials, massed choir. The Workshop will conclude with a concert for parents and community members. Time to be advised
Dates	Wednesday 2 October and Thursday 3 October 2024
Venue	Fernvale State School
